Scalo, a European software engineering company, announced the appointment of Chris Burns as Sales Director UK. In his new role, Chris will lead Scalo’s sales activities in the United Kingdom, where the company already serves a growing portfolio of clients and is expanding its presence.

With Chris’s appointment, the company will sharpen its focus on the UK’s financial services, fintech, and insurance sectors, providing the competencies and solutions these organisations need to drive growth and innovation – from platform modernisation and data architecture to AI implementation and new product development.
Chris brings more than three decades of experience in the IT industry, most of it working closely with the financial sector. He has spent years helping financial institutions and fintechs address challenges such as regulatory pressure, legacy technology, and the need to bring new products to market faster, and joins Scalo with an extensive network in the UK financial technology market.
