Vestwell Names Jason Warnick and Josh Warren to its Board of Directors

Robinhood’s former CFO and FactSet’s CFO join the leading fintech as the company continues to expand access to savings

Vestwell, the infrastructure platform powering America’s modern savings economy, today announced it has appointed Jason Warnick, former CFO of Robinhood, and Josh Warren, CFO of FactSet, to its board of directors. The appointments come as Vestwell scales its platform, which now serves more than 2.7 million active savers and administers over $58 billion in assets nationwide.

Jason Warnick brings decades of operational and financial experience from his time at Robinhood and Amazon. Warnick served as CFO of Robinhood for seven years, where he helped guide the company through its initial public offering and oversaw its financial strategy while navigating regulatory changes, acquisitions, and rapid growth. Prior to Robinhood, Warnick was at Amazon for nearly 20 years, where he held several leadership positions including VP of Finance and Chief of Staff to the CFO. Warnick is on the board of ÅŒURA, a leading health intelligence platform, and holds a B.A. from Western Washington University.

“Vestwell has built the infrastructure to make saving accessible for millions of Americans who were excluded or poorly served by the old system,” said Warnick. “I’m proud to be joining the board at a time when the company is scaling its vision of transforming how Americans save to close the $50 trillion savings gap.”

Josh Warren is a seasoned financial and strategic leader. As CFO of FactSet, Warren oversees the financial operations of a leading global financial data and AI solutions provider. Prior to FactSet, Warren served as CFO of Envestnet, a leading wealth management technology company. Warren has also had roles at BlackRock, Barclays Capital, Foros Group, the United States Department of the Treasury, and Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP. He holds a J.D. from the New York University School of Law and a B.A. from Dartmouth College.

“I believe in Vestwell’s mission of expanding access to savings for every American, and am honored to be joining the board at this exciting stage of the company’s growth. Having spent much of my career across wealth management, data and regulation, I know what goes into building a platform that serves savers, employers, advisors and government partners simultaneously,” said Warren.

Warnick and Warren each bring firsthand experience helping fast-growing, highly regulated fintech companies manage finances through scaling and expansion. They join an experienced group of financial services and technology leaders serving on the Vestwell board, including Aaron Schumm, Lori Hardwick, Justin Overdorff, Logan Allin, and Tim DeGrange.

“Jason and Josh both bring experience operating at the intersection of technology, financial services, and public markets. They know what it takes to build lasting companies at scale,” said Vestwell Founder and CEO Aaron Schumm. “We are excited to welcome them to the Board as Vestwell expands the infrastructure behind America’s savings economy. Their expertise will be invaluable in helping us navigate the opportunities ahead.”
