Joining the company’s executive leadership team and reporting to Co-Founder and CEO, Michael Carvin, Lapides will oversee and scale a fully integrated People discipline that will help drive aggressive growth and expansion.

In this new role, Lapides will be responsible for all aspects of SmartAsset’s human resources department and strategy, including talent acquisition and management, onboarding, leadership development, compensation and benefits, culture and engagement, diversity and inclusion, and employee relations.

Lapides brings more than 20 years of professional experience in human resources and operational management for well-regarded organizations. Prior to joining SmartAsset, she served as SVP, People at Vimeo where she introduced and implemented structural improvements at scale, increased operational efficiencies, and helped scale the overall and People team headcount. Before joining Vimeo, Lapides was the SVP, People Experience & Talent at Foursquare.
