Ms. Signorelli will lead AIG’s North America, Latin America & Caribbean Commercial Insurance businesses, as well as the Global Personal Insurance Business
American International Group, Inc. announced the appointment of Sierra Signorelli as Chief Executive Officer, Americas and Global Personal Insurance, effective January 1, 2027. In this new role, Ms. Signorelli will oversee AIG’s North America, Latin America & Caribbean Commercial Insurance businesses as well as the Global Personal Insurance business. She will report to Eric Andersen, President & Chief Executive Officer, AIG and will serve on AIG’s Executive Leadership Team.

Mr. Andersen said, “Sierra is a highly respected global insurance executive with significant relationships across the industry, deep technical experience managing complex businesses, tremendous market insights and a distinguished track record of driving growth and leading high-performing teams. Sierra’s leadership and perspective will be instrumental as we continue to execute our strategy and deliver greater value to our clients and partners. I am delighted to welcome Sierra back to AIG.”
Ms. Signorelli rejoins AIG from Zurich, where she has been a member of the company’s executive committee since 2021 and held senior executive roles including CEO U.S., CEO Commercial Insurance, and Group Chief Underwriting Officer. Earlier in her career, Ms. Signorelli spent 17 years with AIG in the Global Specialties division, serving as Global Chief Underwriting Officer, Specialty Lines, among other senior roles.
