Gulfstream Property & Casualty Insurance was recently named one of the Best Companies To Work For in Florida for the second year in a row, based on offering a quality workplace that employees appreciate.

The annual Best Companies To Work for In Florida list is featured in the August issue of Florida Trend magazine. Florida Trend and Best Companies Group created and compiled the list to identify, recognize and honor the top one hundred companies to work for in Florida.

“Our Team at Gulfstream have built and maintained a fantastic culture of mutual respect and accountability befitting the recognition as a Best Company To Work For In Florida,” said Ron Natherson, Gulfstream President and CEO. “We continue to be committed to the development of our people, both personally and professionally, and strive toward best-in-class service in delivering on our promise to policyholders and agency partners. Congratulations again to our team on this most deserving recognition!”

To participate, companies or government entities had to employ at least 15 workers in Florida and have been in operation at least one year. Companies that participated underwent an evaluation of their workplace policies, practices, philosophy, systems and demographics. The process also included a survey to measure employee satisfaction. The combined scores determined the top companies and the final ranking.

Gulfstream is headquartered in Sarasota, Florida and was also named one of the 2018 Best Places to Work in Sarasota-Manatee Counties by the Herald-Tribune. Gulfstream was founded in 2004, insuring homes and families throughout Florida and the Gulf Coast. The company holds a Financial Stability Rating® (FSR) of A, Exceptional, from Demotech, Inc.

Gulfstream works hard to offer employees a stellar benefit package that includes fully paid healthcare premiums for its employees and full reimbursement for medical deductibles. They also offer a tuition reimbursement program.
