insured.io Launches Next-Generation Client Portal and Mobile App to Elevate Policyholder Experience

One Application Across All Channels Offers Best-Practice UX, Secure, Biometric Login, Wallet ID Cards, and Real-Time Claims Tracking to P&C Insurance Carriers

insured.io, a leading provider of omnichannel customer experience solutions for insurers, announced the launch of Claims AI, launched its next-generation client portal, and a full-featured, carrier-branded mobile app for iOS and Android, live at ITC Vegas. Guided by the company’s core mantra of “future-proofing customer experience,” the new portal delivers a completely revised UI and best-practice UX, streamlining policyholder interactions across the mobile app, mobile web, and desktop environments within a single, unified application.

The insured.io client portal architecture is built on years of research on policyholder behavior across personal and commercial lines of business, incorporating data from over 2 million active users and more than $2.5 billion in premiums collected. By analyzing usage patterns, identifying pain points, and gathering carrier feedback, insured.io has identified the most critical actions for policyholders, making digital engagement faster, more intuitive, and more seamless.

“We’ve seen the insured.io next-gen portal and its new capabilities, including the all-new mobile app. We believe it’s a game-changer for the way that carriers interact with and retain policyholders,” said Myles Storms, Chief Operating Officer at Aspire General.

Key features and innovations built into the new portal include:

  • Biometric and Passkey Login: Fast, secure, passwordless authentication for effortless account access.
  • Apple & Google Wallet ID Cards: Digital proof of insurance stored directly within native mobile wallets, making it easier than ever for policyholders to find the documents they need.
  • Enhanced Omnichannel Notifications: Integrated messaging pairing push notifications, SMS, and voice gives carriers more ways to engage with policyholders.
  • Insurance Claims Status Tracker: An updated, out-of-the-box, transparent claims tracking tool providing end-to-end status visibility for carriers and policyholders.

The client portal retains insured.io’s core policy management system integration, configuration engine, and omnichannel interconnectivity with all insured.io channels.

insured.io’s updated client portal will be available to both new and existing clients in Q4 2026, with a phased rollout for existing customers extending through the first half of 2027. The upgrade requires no complex reintegrations or manual version updates.

“Continuous improvement means more to us than just iterative updates. It also means that sometimes we take a quantum leap forward with individual components of our platform,” said Steve Johnson, Chief Product Officer at insured.io and author of The Insurance UX Survival Guide. “It’s always been our goal to exceed customer expectations, and with NGP, we are doing just that, and honoring our promise that our platform continues to grow and evolve over time.”
