Voyager Appoints Patrick Yarborough to Lead Investor Relations

CFA charterholder and capital markets veteran to deepen institutional investor engagement

Voyager Technologies appointed Patrick Yarborough as vice president, Investor Relations, effective immediately, bringing more than a decade of capital markets, investor communications and corporate development experience to the company.

“Growing a public company requires growing the market’s trust in it,” said Phil De Sousa, chief financial officer, Voyager. “As we scale our capital base and investor footprint, having someone who has sat on both sides of the table — advising companies and allocating capital — will be critical to earning long-term confidence from the market.”

Yarborough most recently served as the strategic transactions lead at Lockheed Martin Space, where he focused on the evolving space and defense technology landscape, translating corporate strategy into actionable inorganic growth opportunities and transaction execution through financial and market analyses. Previously, he was an investment strategist at Obermeyer Wood Investment Counsel, serving on the Investment Committee for a multi-billion-dollar investment platform and engaging directly with management teams and investors on business outlooks and portfolio positioning. Yarborough also spent nearly a decade at UBS Investment Bank, where he advised founders, executives and boards on IPOs, follow-on offerings, PIPEs and private financings and led investor-facing preparation for roadshows and equity transactions.

“Voyager is at the center of some of the most important programs in space and national security, and the market is still learning how to value that,” said Patrick Yarborough, vice president, Investor Relations, Voyager. “I’m looking forward to enhancing our investor relations function to give investors a clear, consistent view of the business so that the valuation matches the execution.”
