Fiduciary Trust Company, an independent wealth advisor and investment management firm for high-net-worth individuals and nonprofits, is pleased to announce the hiring of Chris Shepler, CFA, as a Vice President & Investment Officer.

Shepler brings over 25 years of investment and wealth management experience to Fiduciary Trust. He joins the firm from the Endowments & Foundations practice at Cambridge Associates. Shepler previously led a client-facing team for quantitative solutions at MSCI, Inc., and raised capital as the CFO of tech start-up Porticus Technologies. He earlier served as a venture capital investor and wealth advisor to high-net-worth families at Bainco International Investors.

Shepler is a Chartered Financial Analyst® charterholder and a member of the Chartered Financial Analyst Institute and CFA Society Boston. Shepler is actively involved with the Boy Scouts of America as Treasurer of a Duxbury, Mass., troop, and in his church, St. John the Evangelist, as a Youth Missions Leader. Shepler earned a BA in Political Science from Yale University and an MBA from the Edinburgh Business School at Heriot-Watt University. In his free time, he enjoys singing and playing guitar, often in church, and riding his bike. Shepler resides in Duxbury, Mass., with his family.
