GenTrust, an investment-focused multi-family office with approximately $5 billion in assets under management, announced that Robert Roman has been named principal, senior client advisor.
Roman most recently served as president and CEO of MGO Private Wealth, where he has partnered with GenTrust for over a decade. Roman’s clients include several successful entrepreneurs, as well as luminaries in the sports and entertainment industries.
GenTrust provides sophisticated, institutional-quality solutions to a select group of ultra-high-net-worth individuals and family offices. The firm was founded in 2011 by financial industry veterans Jim Besaw, George Perez and Gui Socarras.

Roman spent his early career working at two large global wealth management firms. After more than a decade on Wall Street, Roman founded Legacy Private Client Group at the age of 31. His success as an independent advisor fueled his later partnership with the accounting firm MGO to build out its separate wealth management arm, MGO Private Wealth.
