Morgan Stanley Investment Management Announces Portfolio Management Change for Morgan Stanley India Investment Fund, Inc.

Morgan Stanley Investment Management announced a portfolio management change for Morgan Stanley India Investment Fund, Inc.. The Fund is managed by the Emerging Markets Equity team of Morgan Stanley Investment Management Inc. (the “Adviser”). The team consists of portfolio managers and analysts.

The current members of the team jointly and primarily responsible for the day-to-day management of the Fund’s portfolio are Amay Hattangadi, Managing Director of Morgan Stanley Investment Management Company (“MSIM Co.”), and Ruchir Sharma, a Managing Director of the Adviser. Mr. Hattangadi has been associated with MSIM Co. or its affiliates in an investment management capacity since 1997 and began managing the Fund in March 2019. Mr. Sharma has been associated with the Adviser in an investment management capacity since 1996 and began managing the Fund in January 2001. Ruchir Sharma will no longer serve as a portfolio manager of the Fund after December 31, 2021. Amay Hattangadi will remain a portfolio manager of the Fund, supported by analyst Saurabh Mishra.
