Hippo, the high-growth insurtech group that’s transforming home insurance, announced that Sandra Wijnberg has joined its board of directors as an independent director and will serve as its audit chair.

Ms. Wijnberg brings experience in insurance, private equity and board governance to Hippo. She currently serves as audit committee chair of Automatic Data Processing, Inc. and Cognizant Technology Solutions and is also a member of the board of T. Rowe Price Group, Inc. She previously served on the boards of directors of Tyco International PLC and TE Connectivity Ltd.

Ms. Wijnberg was a partner, chief administrative officer and member of the board of directors of Aquiline Holdings LLC, a registered investment advisory firm, investing in the global financial services and financial technology sector. Prior to that, Ms. Wijnberg was the chief financial officer of Marsh & McLennan Companies, a global professional services firm. Previously, she was treasurer and interim chief financial officer of YUM! Brands, Inc. and held senior financial management roles at PepsiCo, Inc.
