XUP Payments is working with Georgia Tech’s Scheller College of Business to Advance Education

XUP kicks off an internship program with local college to tie in real-world experience and help prepare students for the workforce.

XUP Payments (“XUP”), a leading payments innovator focused on connecting core banking infrastructures, announced that they will be working with Georgia Tech’s Scheller College of Business on a 15 week internship program. Students will enhance the classroom experience by partnering with XUP to build and test a digital marketing strategy.

“Joining with XUP gives Scheller College of Business a unique opportunity to make sure that students have an experience that can better prepare them for the future” said Michael Buchanan, Senior Lecturer, Digital Marketing and Strategy. “Our goal for the internship program is to help students apply the skills they are learning to solve real business issues and align the internship to their career aspirations and interests.”

“We believe internships help build the foundation for individuals who want to explore career options and gain valuable experience that can potentially lead to full-time employment,” said Craig Sobol, Chief Revenue Officer of XUP. “Our goal is to serve as a mentor over the semester and we are excited to see what each student will bring to the table.”
