AlphaLab users gain real-time financial news to support quantitative research, strategy development and backtesting
Benzinga, a leading provider of real-time financial news and market data, announced a new data relationship with Edgebot Corporation, the company behind AlphaLab, an AI quant lab built for professional traders.
Through this relationship, Edgebot is integrating Benzinga’s Premium U.S. Equities Newsfeed into AlphaLab. As a result, AlphaLab users can incorporate real-time and historical market news into their research process, helping them evaluate how market-moving events and company developments may affect a trading hypothesis.
AlphaLab operates as an AI quant lab that traders hire and direct: users bring a hypothesis, an AI Head of Research dispatches researchers to investigate it, and an independent AI Risk Analyst signs off before anything reaches the user, who receives either a defended strategy or an honest refutation. To meet that structure, Benzinga’s market news adds real-time and historical context throughout the process, supporting hypothesis development, historical analysis, and signal evaluation.
