Solomon Partners Forms Technology Investment Banking Group With Joseph Watson

Solomon Partners, a renowned financial advice business, announces Joseph Watson has joined the firm as a Managing Director in its Technology Group, the firm’s newest specialty. In order to strategically grow and diversify the firm’s platform, Solomon’s eleventh vertical was developed and built up. Craig Muir, who will join the company on May 31, 2023, will serve as the group’s leader. The new team was first revealed in October 2022. He and Mr. Watson have collaborated for for ten years, most recently in the Technology Group at Houlihan Lokey and earlier at Quayle Munro, which Houlihan Lokey acquired in 2018.

Mr. Watson is a CFA® Charterholder and possesses a bachelor’s degree in mathematics and statistics with first-class honours from the London School of Economics. Several industries benefit from Mr. Watson’s expertise in software, data, analytics, and information services, with a particular emphasis on the Financial and Energy verticals. He has a wealth of experience in fundraising and mergers and acquisitions, working with private equity and venture capital firms, business owners, and public corporations.
