Former Amberdata sales leader joins to bring SonarX’s 130+ chain data infrastructure to banks, asset managers, and audit firms
SonarX, the institutional-grade blockchain data infrastructure platform, today announced that Taylor Travis, former Head of Sales at Amberdata, has joined the company as Head of Sales. SonarX delivers real-time and historical data across 130+ blockchains to financial institutions, enterprises, and crypto-native platforms, and in May 2026 acquired Flipside Crypto’s blockchain data business, doubling its customer base. The hire brings dedicated sales leadership to SonarX’s mission: build the scalable, resilient data infrastructure that lets blockchain serve as the new plumbing of global finance, payments, and every other transfer of value.
Every digital asset is blockchain-agnostic, so every institution that holds, trades, or audits one needs data from every chain it touches, at one standard. We built that layer across 130+ chains.”

“Every digital asset is blockchain-agnostic by design, so every institution that holds, trades, or audits one needs data from every chain it touches, at one standard,” said Patrick Kim, Founder and CEO of SonarX. “We built that layer, from eight chains to more than 130 today, with the Flipside data business now part of it. Taylor takes it to market. Her track record and relationships across global banks, asset managers, and rating agencies put our infrastructure in front of the institutions that need it most, and that is our next phase of growth.”

Taylor brings a track record of translating emerging technology into institutional adoption, with leadership experience spanning financial services, digital assets, and AI. Her background reflects a career built at the intersection of traditional finance and blockchain-native markets. She has helped some of the industry’s most demanding institutions move from evaluating new infrastructure to deploying it in production workloads.
Those are the institutions SonarX builds for. The platform covers 130+ blockchains from genesis to tip, with decoded smart contracts, real-time streaming seconds from the chain tip, and SOC 2 Type II-compliant delivery into the warehouses customers run today. The Flipside acquisition added eight years of curated on-chain data: the combined platform spans 700 million wallets, 7 trillion rows, and more than 1,000 decoded protocols, the largest curated blockchain dataset in the industry.
“Blockchain and digital assets are the future of how value moves,” said Taylor Travis, Head of Sales at SonarX. “The industry is still in its infancy, but we’re standing at the precipice of a structural shift in how institutions access, trust, and act on this data. SonarX is quintessential to that shift: it’s the layer that turns blockchain from a promising idea into infrastructure institutions can actually build on. I’m here to make sure the market understands that, and to put it directly into the hands of the institutions that need it most.”
The GENIUS Act takes effect no later than January 18, 2027, and the OCC, FDIC, and Treasury have published proposed rules to implement it. That makes 2027 the year the U.S. stablecoin market operates under one federal framework. As stablecoin issuers, banks, regulators, and tokenized asset platforms move from pilots to production, each needs a data foundation that scales, reconciles to the transaction, and stands up to audit. SonarX supplies that foundation today for financial institutions, Big 4 audit firms, tax and accounting software, wallet infrastructure, custodians, exchanges, risk and compliance platforms, and analytics providers, with complete chain history, real-time access, and data quality built to institutional standards.
“When I joined SonarX in May 2025, the mandate was a product institutions can run in production. That product exists today: more than 130 chains, seven trillion rows, audit-quality data, delivered where institutions work,” said Sergio Capanna, Chief Product Officer at SonarX. “The gap that remains is between what exists and what the market knows. Taylor closes it. She takes the data layer of record for institutional crypto and puts it in the hands of the banks, asset managers, and audit firms that need it now.”
