“During these uncertain times, understanding how consumer behavior is changing and how it is impacting companies in the consumer economy is more important than ever,” said Randy Koch, CEO of Facteus. “While there continues to be numerous sources focused on forecasting top line sales, understanding the moving pieces of a company’s operation that drive that top line is critical for getting a clear picture of company performance and execution. Transaction data provides the most accurate lens into those drivers of company performance. Facteus has the largest and most diverse transaction panel in the market and these Quarterly Spend Reports provide that missing piece of the puzzle investors are looking for.”

Business and investment analysts using Facteus data gain a granular understanding of consumer behavior trends at the industry level (retail, entertainment, hospitality, etc.), or at the specific company level. This transactional data offers a comprehensive, real-time perspective into evolving customer behaviors, such as where consumers are buying, how much they are spending, how frequently, and through which point of sale (in-person or online).
