Natixis Corporate & Investment Banking Opens Representative Office in Chile and Appoints “Senior Country Manager”

Natixis Corporate & Investment Banking opens a representative office in Chile , following approval by local financial regulator, Comisión para el Mercado Financiero (CMF), and names Roberto Zaldivar as “Senior Country Manager”. Once again, the bank reinforces its commitment to further develop its business in Chile and throughout the region.

The Chile becomes the sixth office of Natixis Corporate & Investment Banking in Latin America – which has also representative offices in Argentina , Brazil, Colombia, Mexico and Peru – and the tenth office in the Americas. By opening a representative office in Chile , Natixis Corporate & Investment Banking aims to deepen its relationship with customers and strengthen their access to the bank’s global product offering.

Roberto Zaldivar is named “Senior Country Manager” at Natixis Chile, reporting to Helena Radzyminski , Head of Latin America platform Natixis Corporate & Investment Banking. He previously served as a consultant for Natixis Corporate & Investment Banking.

Latin America has been a strategic region for Natixis Corporate & Investment Banking for the past 45 years. The bank’s coverage in the region is managed through its Latin American platform, based in New York , with an offering that spans financing products – including infrastructure, mining, aviation, export and import financing, acquisition financing – capitals and research area. In addition, Natixis Corporate & Investment Banking has deep experience in green and sustainable finance and is a leader in this segment. This area is integrated into the bank’s product areas to support customers as they adapt their business models to the energy and environmental transition.

Biography Roberto Zaldivar

Roberto Zaldivar has nearly thirty years of experience in investment banking and corporate finance in Chile . Prior to his appointment as “Senior Country Manager”, he served as a consultant for Natixis Corporate & Investment Banking. Previously, he worked at Scotiabank Chile Debt Capital Markets (DCM), focusing on local bond offerings and origination of “DCM” transactions in the international market. Prior to that, he served as DCM Head of ABN AMRO Chile and also held positions at Bank of America and Banco Santander Chile. Roberto holds a Masters in Business Administration from IESE, Universidad de Navarra , Barcelonaand is a graduate of the School of Mathematics and Physics at the Universidad de Chile in Santiago .
