Avantis Investors Launches Value And Real Estate ETFs

As it celebrates its second anniversary, Avantis Investors, a $7 billion investment offering from global asset manager American Century Investments, announced the expansion of its investment capabilities with the launch of four new exchange traded funds (ETFs): Avantis® Emerging Markets Value ETF (AVES); Avantis® International Large Cap Value ETF (AVIV); Avantis® U.S. Large Cap Value ETF (AVLV); and Avantis® Real Estate ETF (AVRE). Each vehicle, listed on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE Arca, Inc.), relies on a proprietary systematic investment approach that combines the latest in financial science with common sense investment principles.

The U.S. Large Cap Value ETF launched last week, while the Emerging Markets Value ETF, International Large Cap Value ETF and Real Estate ETF were listed today.

The fund invests primarily in a diverse group of companies related to emerging markets across market sectors, industry groups and countries. The fund may invest in companies of all market capitalizations. The fund seeks securities of companies that it expects to have higher returns by placing an enhanced emphasis on securities of companies it defines as high profitability or value companies.

Avantis International Large Cap Value ETF

Invests primarily in a diverse group of non-U.S. companies across countries, market sectors and industry groups. The fund seeks securities of companies that it expects to have higher returns by placing an enhanced emphasis on securities of companies it defines as high profitability or value companies.

Avantis Real Estate ETF

Invests primarily in a diverse group of real estate securities globally, in particular real estate investment trusts (REITs) and REIT-like entities. The fund seeks securities of companies that it expects to have higher returns or better risk characteristics – for example, companies with lower leverage.

Avantis U.S. Large Cap Value ETF

0.15%

Invests primarily in a diverse group of U.S. companies across market sectors and industry groups. The fund seeks securities of companies that it expects to have higher returns by placing an enhanced emphasis on securities of companies it defines as high profitability or value companies.

The new funds join Avantis Investors’ lineup of eight ETFs and corresponding mutual funds: Avantis Core Fixed Income; Avantis Core Municipal Fixed Income; Avantis Emerging Markets Equity; Avantis International Equity; Avantis International Small Cap Value; Avantis Short-Term  Fixed Income; Avantis U.S. Equity and Avantis U.S. Small Cap Value.
