Avii Adds Inline Editing Support for Microsoft OneDrive to its Unified Accounting Practice Management Platform

-Beyond Bi-Directional Syncing, Avii Provides Accountants Using Avii Workspace for Tax, Audit and Advisory the Ability to Edit OneDrive Documents Directly from the Cloud-

Accounting practitioners who use Microsoft’s OneDrive  document sharing and storage solution in conjunction with the Avii Workspace unified SaaS platform have yet another reason to cheer. Avii , a leading practice management platform for tax, audit, advisory, compliance and management consulting firms, now provides inline editing support for OneDrive.

In December 2019, Avii announced the inclusion of OneDrive in the growing list of best-in-class technologies its Avii Workspace platform can support with bi-directional syncing. This eliminates the need to exit the platform to re-enter an existing SaaS application they continue to use (which is one of the biggest causes of time and productivity waste accounting practitioners face).

Today the company is taking its support for OneDrive further still with support for inline editing.

What this means to practitioners is the ability to not only open OneDrive files from within the Avii platform, but to also seamlessly edit their OneDrive documents in place. The content on the screen is an exact match to the final document, with all changes saved.

“In a nutshell, our integration with pervasive and entrenched solutions like OneDrive makes it easy and seamless to incorporate the software practitioners currently rely on while also getting access to the automation apps within Avii they are currently missing,” said Avii’s co-founder and CEO Lyle Ball.

“Of the integrations we’re adding to Avii for existing applications, OneDrive has been one of the very most popular among our current and prospective customers,” said co-founder and CTO Jason Caldwell. “This makes us especially pleased to provide firms who’ve invested in OneDrive the ability to add this capability to the 12 native applications our unified SaaS platform offers and to extend these advantages to their employees and clients.”

Avii’s integration with OneDrive, which now includes inline editing, is available at no additional charge to accountants using the Avii Workspace.
