Andrews joins Verecan at a significant stage in the firm’s development, bringing deep financial services experience, strong industry relationships, and a clear mandate to help drive the next phase of growth. His appointment follows Verecan’s recent addition of Emily Dunn, MBA, as Chief Operating Officer, further strengthening the senior leadership team as the firm expands beyond its Canadian roots.

Most recently, President and CEO of CWB Wealth, Andrews brings a practical understanding of how firms grow, scale, and evolve. He will play an important role in advancing Verecan’s growth strategy, including acquisitions, advisor relationships, strategic partnerships, and opportunities with independent firms seeking a thoughtful path forward.

“We are fortunate to have Jim join Verecan at this stage in our growth. He understands this industry and sees the opportunity in what we are building,” said Colin White, CEO of Verecan Group of Companies. “I’m beyond excited to continue adding to the leadership here at Verecan, as we continue working towards improving financial services available to Canadians.”

“So much of what I believe defines exceptional wealth management is already embedded in Verecan’s culture: a clear commitment to clients, deep expertise, and remarkable people who live those values every day,” said Andrews. “I’m thrilled to join the team and build on that strong foundation as Verecan continues to grow.”

Verecan launched in 2023 as a national discretionary portfolio management firm committed to reshaping how financial services are delivered in Canada. In 2025, the firm expanded to provide services to U.S.-based clients and clients with cross-border financial concerns.

Dan LeBlanc, Founding Partner and Chief Treasury Officer of Verecan Group of Companies, will continue to play an important role in the firm’s financial stewardship and long-term development.
