Managing Partners Mr. Miranda and Mr. Raich commented, “We have had the privilege of working alongside Brian Michaud for almost 20 years and are thrilled to recognize his remarkable achievements. Most notably, he has played a key role in building and scaling our Services vertical, positioning Littlejohn as a premier investor in middle-market transportation, logistics, commercial and professional services businesses. Brian’s significant contributions and deep commitment to the firm, our portfolio companies and investors, his proven track record, and his embodiment of our core values make him the ideal person to join Littlejohn’s senior leadership team.”
As part of the planned evolution of Littlejohn’s leadership, Managing Partner and Chief Executive Officer, Michael Klein, has been named Chairman, and Managing Partner and President, Brian Ramsay, has been named Vice Chairman. In their new roles, Mr. Klein and Mr. Ramsay remain fully committed to the firm and will support the Managing Partners, as well as continue to work with the investment team on portfolio investments and capital deployment.
Since co-founding Littlejohn, Mr. Klein has been instrumental in shaping its identity, values, and investment approach, establishing the foundation on which the firm has grown and thrived. Mr. Ramsay, who joined the firm in 1997, has been equally central to Littlejohn’s development, helping shape the firm into the successful organization it is today through his steady leadership, investment acumen, and focus on strengthening the processes and resources that support its investment capabilities.
Mr. Klein and Mr. Ramsay stated, “Brian Michaud’s promotion reflects the exceptional leadership, judgment, and commitment he has demonstrated at Littlejohn for nearly two decades. We believe that Brian, Tony, Steve, and Shant are well-positioned to lead the firm forward, building on Littlejohn’s strong foundation, investment discipline, and collaborative culture. As we move into our new roles, we do so with great confidence that Littlejohn has the right senior leadership team at the helm for long-term growth and success.”
Mr. Michaud added, “It is a privilege to assume this role within an organization I deeply admire. I look forward to working closely with Littlejohn’s leadership team to deepen our culture of integrity, excellence, and grit that first drew me here early in my career, advancing our portfolio companies, and delivering results for our investors. On a personal level, I am grateful to Tony, Steve, Michael and Brian for the confidence they have placed in me and mentorship throughout my career.”
Mr. Michaud joined Littlejohn in 2007 and is a member of the Investment Committee. He has played an active role across many of Littlejohn’s portfolio investments and currently sits on the boards of Milrose Consultants, GDS Associates, Interstate Waste Services, Imperative Logistics Group, Pritchard Industries, and Valcourt Building Services.
