-Company Is Expanding the Industry’s Most Interconnected Practice Management Platform With Solution Sets for Client Portal, Secure Document Exchange, Projects, Tasks and Workflow, and Resource Planning-
Avii , provider of the Avii Workspace unified SaaS platform for tax, audit, advisory, compliance and management consulting firms, is expanding rapidly in 2020, according to a Startup Showcase presentation by CEO Lyle Ball at last week’s Silicon Slopes Tech Summit.
At the 2020 event with a record audience of 25,000 attendees, Ball outlined the four new Avii Workspace solution sets designed to meet the needs and preferences of accounting firms of every size and variety, ranging from the smallest practices to the Big 4. The solution sets are comprised of specific sets of the company’s 20-plus applications to support the functions of:
- Client Portal
- Secure Document Exchange
- Projects, Tasks and Workflow
- Resource Planning
With the Avii Workspace solution sets, firms can come into the platform at any level that aligns with their change management strategy to gain the increasing benefits of automation and AI. The new configuration allows firms to acquire any or all of the functions they require to support their immediate needs while maintaining the flexibility to add additional functionality with ease as desired.
Additionally, Ball announced the appointment of veteran senior executive Stuart Dean as Avii VP of Sales to lead the company’s accelerating sales and expansion in 2020 and beyond.
“Stuart brings 20+ years of sales and business development leadership to Avii, where he is building a dynamic sales team from the ground up,” said Ball. Stuart’s experience leading business development and sales for both global and also small and rapidly scaling SaaS companies (including NUVI, PR Newswire and Business Wire, a Berkshire Hathaway company) make him eminently qualified for the challenge ahead.”
After several decades of success in opening new offices, entering new markets and steering fast-growing companies in new directions, Dean is confident that Avii is ideally positioned and prepared to succeed:
“Avii is an organization with a powerful product that has been painstakingly developed,” he says. “Lyle Ball and his team have exercised tremendous discipline in developing a product with more than 20 independent and configurable SaaS components to support the functions accounting practices require. By unifying these functions within a single platform, they’ve created a company poised for explosive growth.”
Dean’s professional experience includes serving as vice president for an international business news service and executive vice president for a leading social media analytics company. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in communications from Brigham Young University.
Avii has a 19-year legacy of custom software development for several of the world’s largest accounting firms, including KPMG, and has powered audits and other accounting initiatives for Federal funds that pass through key national and state government organizations. Avii Workspace provides firms of all sizes with technology automCEation and other advantages formerly enjoyed only by the Big 4. Avii Workspace is especially geared to the vast market of more than 10,000 accounting practices that employ 20 or fewer Certified Public Accountants (CPA) and are most severely underserved by traditional accounting software offerings.
