Milliman Acquires Blue Water Mortgage Servicing Rights Valuation and Hedging Services from Apex Analytics

The acquisition adds industry-leading hedge analytics, technology, and quantitative talent to Milliman’s mortgage servicing rights advisory business

Milliman, Inc., a leading global actuarial and consulting firm, announced the acquisition of Blue Water Mortgage Servicing Rights (MSR) Valuation and Hedging services from Apex Analytics Corp. The transaction expands Milliman’s mortgage advisory capabilities while enabling Apex Analytics to sharpen its investment focus around its core property intelligence technology.

The acquisition strengthens Milliman’s analytical solutions for mortgage servicing rights, enhancing its ability to help clients mitigate risk and maximize portfolio value throughout the mortgage lifecycle.

The transaction expands Milliman’s mortgage advisory customer base and brings industry-leading hedge strategies, technology, and experienced professionals with deep subject matter expertise. The Blue Water hedging platform will be further enhanced by Milliman’s capabilities in mortgage behavior modeling, quantitative analytics, hedging strategies, software development, and advanced data science.
